Lunch and Study Visit to the Tropical Botanical Garden

Após a visita ao Museu de arte contemporânea, dirigimo-nos ao Jardim Botânico Tropical, situado em Belém.

After visiting the museum of contemporary art, we go to the Tropical Botanical Garden, located in Belém.

Assim que chegámos, deslocámo-nos a uma clareira onde almoçámos ao ar livre.

Once we arrived, we moved to a clearing where we had lunch outdoors.

Depois, já bem mais satisfeitos e de barriga cheia, explorámos todas as belezas naturais existentes no Jardim Botânico.

Later, much more satisfied and full stomach, we have explored all existing natural beauties in the Botanical Gardens.

No chão, pudémos observar as tâmaras caídas.

On the floor, we were able to observe the dates fallen of the trees.

Um dos momentos altos da nossa visita foi quando observámos de perto um esquilo
que se alimentava de frutos secos mesmo ali, ao pé de nós.

One of the highlights of our visit was when we looked closely at a squirrel that ate nuts even there, beside us.

O esquilo curioso também observava atento os seres humanos.

As raízes da figueira Australiana podem ser vistas à superficie.

Os pavões andaram sempre à nossa volta, procurando comer as migalhas de pão que caíam das nossas sandwishes.

The peacocks walked all around us, trying to eat the crumbs that fell from our sandwich.

Foi ainda possível observar uma pavoa e a sua cria.

It was also possible to observe a peahen and her offspring.
